Special Projects Department: Roles, Responsibilities, and Structure

The Special Projects Department consists of four divisions as follows:

1. 1. ASEAN Community (AEC) Operations Center and Special Economic Zones
      This center prepares plans for the development of Special Economic Zones with the key objectives of promoting regional prosperity using ASEAN opportunities, reducing income disparity, improving the quality of life for farmers, enhancing security, and increasing competitiveness and connectivity with neighboring countries. The development activities in the area, necessary infrastructure improvements, and investment benefits to be supported are proposed through a participatory process involving farmers and various sectors in the area.
   2. Agricultural Business Center​ of ACFT, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province
      The Agricultural Business Center of The Agricultural Co-operative Federation of Thailand, Ltd. (ACFT) in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province integrates The Agricultural Co-operative Federation of Thailand, Ltd. (ACFT)’s comprehensive business operations across a 31-rai, 50-square-wa area, which includes:
      • Warehouse
      • Dock for loading and unloading agricultural products
      • Standard weighing scales
      • High crane for efficient and quick product transfer to boats, reducing product loss and dust to protect the environment in cooperation with the community.
   3. Agricultural Business and Project Division
      This department handles the procurement of production factors according to government policies to assist farmers, including agricultural chemicals, machinery, tools, and plant seedlings. Both central and regional government agencies have confidence in the products of The Agricultural Co-operative Federation of Thailand, Ltd. (ACFT)
   4. Administrative Division
      • Handling document reception and dispatch
      • Storing administrative documents
      • Drafting general correspondence
      • Managing financial operations and overseeing office supplies for the Special Projects Division
      • Coordinating with various internal and external agencies
      • Performing other assigned tasks
